How often do most parents attend sessions?
I am open to working weekly, or every other week, or once a month, or just quarterly. It all depends on what your needs are currently.
Is it okay if I only schedule a session once a month or once every few months for a tune-up?
Yes, I am happy for clients to use my expertise only once in a while to manage a certain growing pain or obstacle within the family.
What is the average number of sessions a parent works with you in your office?
Most parents come in for 4-6 sessions at first. Then we review the goals we set together during our first session to decide if we need to do more work together.
Do you work with men and women?
Absolutely. I have some men who work with me individually, and I have other men who attend sessions with their wife.
Where can I park when I come in for a session?
My office building has a free parking lot directly behind the building, accessible from Church St., which is right off East Putnam Ave.
What form of payment do you accept?
My office manager will email you a link to our database portal system, called TheraNest. You will set up your own portal account in which you will directly pay your invoices. I do not accept checks, cash, or credit cards in my office.
Do you accept insurance?
Our office is happy to provide the necessary diagnostic codes as well as my license number so that you can submit your invoice for reimbursement, yourself.
